The Punjab government has officially released the schedule for hiring head teachers in public schools throughout the province, aiming to fill key leadership roles in the education sector.

According to the notification, online applications will be accepted from July 7 to July 12, with the recruitment test scheduled for July 22. The test will be conducted simultaneously across multiple centers in Punjab.

Candidates will be assessed on their academic qualifications, teaching experience, and test performance. Shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews on July 25. A final merit list will be issued on July 28, incorporating test scores, academic credentials, and interview evaluations.

Successful candidates will receive their appointment letters by July 30.

The process is being overseen by the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), which has been tasked with ensuring transparency and efficiency throughout the recruitment.

This recruitment drive reflects the provincial government’s broader efforts to strengthen school administration and enhance education quality by appointing qualified professionals to leadership positions.
